Ripple's xRapid cryptocurrency product, which aims to make XRP the preferred asset for cross-border settlements between financial institutions, is finally about to enter production with a real commercial application. Sagar Sarbhai, head of regulatory relations for Asia Pacific and the Middle East at Ripple, told CNBC that the company believes the xRapid product is expected to be launched in the near future.
