Coinbase and Ledger to Simplify Crypto Purchases
In a blog post, Ledger said the previous process for sending cryptocurrency from Coinbase to Ledger Live was “cumbersome” and left users “prone to error.”
Ledger users who purchase cryptocurrencies through their Coinbase accounts will not pay any additional fees.
The introduction of this feature ensures that Ledger users with Coinbase accounts no longer need to conduct transactions outside the platform. Reducing the risk of errors will also make transactions safer.
Ian Rogers, Ledger’s chief experience officer, pointed out that Coinbase and Ledger are veterans in the cryptocurrency industry. Therefore, they are committed to making cryptocurrency easy to use and improving security.
“Ledger is proud to bring this experience to Coinbase customers and Ledger users through this partnership,” he said.
Ledger also added that the collaboration comes at a critical time following the launch of a spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States, which will bring new opportunities to new investors looking for easy access to the cryptocurrency industry.
