Bybit Web3, one of the world’s most popular cryptocurrency exchanges and non-fungible token marketplaces, and a Formula 1 team called Oracle Red Bull Racing, have announced that they will be returning for Season 2.0 of their Velocity Series in 2024.
In a blog post on March 12, Bybit confirmed the official launch of its Velocity Series in partnership with the Oracle Red Bull Racing team. However, Bybit Web3 has yet to announce the exact launch date for the Velocity Series.

Bybit and Red Bull Racing 2024 Velocity Series Analysis
Launched in July 2023, the Velocity Series is a unique collaboration between Bybit, Oracle Red Bull Racing, and renowned digital artists. The initiative aims to bring together digital art and racing by creating unique digital collectibles inspired by the race data and telemetry of the RB19 F1 car. Commenting on this in a blog post at the time, Bybit Head of Partnerships Anndy Lian said:
“The Velocity Series represents a unique opportunity to engage with our customers and fans, and we’re excited to further inspire creativity through this collaboration.”
The Velocity Series is the first collaboration between an F1 team and a group of acclaimed digital artists, all of whom have achieved notable success and are acclaimed for their talent by creators and collectors alike, blending the thrill of racing with cutting-edge blockchain creativity.
Rik Oostenbroek, a renowned Dutch artist known for his interdisciplinary approach to dynamic shapes and abstract forms, is a perfect example of a digital artist who has already launched a racing-inspired NFT collectible.
Bybit and Oracle Red Bull Racing’s NFT Experiment
In August 2023, Oostenbroek launched his Moment, an exclusive NFT collectible that can only be minted by privileged Velocity Pass NFT holders. This NFT collectible promises to bring people into the world of 3D art and is a testament to Oostenbroek’s continued advancement in digital art.
In addition, Oostenbroek also launched Flow State, a limited edition of 1,000 NFTs. These NFT collectibles were distributed as airdrop gifts to Velocity Pass NFT holders. Oostenbroek has previously created NFTs for brands such as Nike, Apple, and Paramount Pictures.
The Velocity Pass NFT collectible is a vibrant work of digital art that began to evolve last season and will continue to evolve in the upcoming season. This pass is a premium NFT that provides art fans with front-row access to the game and provides various practical functions.
