Tellor price is trading with a bullish bias and has recorded new highs since the $44.20 low on May 1. The rebound to the intraday high of $98.60 on May 6 has left Tellor price now facing resistance at the 50% Fibonacci placeholder of $104.17.
If the bulls can overcome the immediate resistance of the 100-day simple moving average at $94.19, the uptrend is likely to continue. Traders who want to go long TRB should probably resist the fear of missing out. The resistance resonance between the 200-day simple moving average at $105.34 and the 50% Fibonacci placeholder makes for a tough hurdle. Tellor price is likely to face a rejection here.
A closer look at the relative strength index (RSI) shows a divergence, which could lead to a decline in the price. However, if the Tellor price records a decisive candlestick close above $104.17, it could trigger more buy orders. The subsequent buying pressure could push the price higher further, with a potential target of $166.90. Such an upside would be nearly 80% above the current levels.
On the other hand, early profit-taking could interrupt the up move, triggering a correction. A break below the 50-day simple moving average of $74.82 would panic traders and could trigger a sell-off. However, to invalidate the bullish thesis, Tellor price must record a new low below $41.44, confirming a trend reversal.
